希伯來文其實是一種曾經消失將近千年，後來又被重新恢復的文字。
它一共有 22 個字母，也因此承載了非常深的文化與信念。
在西方國家，有一個很受歡迎的希伯來文單字：Chai
很多人喜歡把它戴在身上，做成項鍊。
連最經典的人物之一 貓王 Elvis Presley，也是 Chai 項鍊的愛好者。
希伯來文的 Chai（חי），意思其實很簡單，就是「活著」、「生命」。
但這個字很有意思，
因為在希伯來文的字母數字裡，
‎ח 是 8、י 是 10，加起來剛好是 18。
而 18 在猶太文化裡，是幸運的數字，代表祝福，也代表生命。
所以你會看到很多人送 18、36 這樣的數字，是一種很溫柔、很真心的祝福
「好好活著/存在著。」
Chai（חי） 就像是在提醒自己：不只是存在，而是要真正地活著。
